Driver Oriol Sevia, from Catalonia, Spain, will honor famed Spanish artist Salvador Dali with his helmet in today's main race.
Newman/Haas Racing driver Oriol Servia is from the same region of Spain as artist Salvador Dali, and he's a huge Dali fan. He visited the new museum inside the race course Thursday and will wear one of his Dali helmets in the race.
"I feel I have a special connection with the (grand prix)," Servia said.
Servia's helmets are designed by Asaign and are among most unusual in racing. Many feature designs by Dali, such a melting clock and marching ants.
