Salvador Dali Museum People visit in Record Numbers

The new Dali Museum is beating even the highest expectations. In the first three months, 100,000 people have visited the museum. That's in comparison to 200,000 visitors per year at the old location.
"I don't think anyone expected we would reach 100,000 people in 3 months," deputy director Kathy White said. "I think that that's pretty amazing."
The museum tracks ZIP codes to determine where visitors are coming from. Many of those who come to the museum are from other countries, while few of the visitors are from Pinellas County.
