The Arts
The arts are alive and well and millions of travelers are now visiting art galleries in New York, Las Vegas, Hawaii, Laguna Beach and more. While online sales for general goods has exceeded brick and mortar business, the art industry is quite different in that you really need to see a work of art in person to appreciate it. Art can be altered when uploaded to a site or blog, so seeing the art in person is important. If you have questions about art of any kind, I am a long time art consultant who has sold works by Salvador Dali, Picasso, Chagall, Miro, Warhol and many others including current popular living artists. This is the smartwatch that President Barack Obama wears
FitBit
Obama has been updating his Fitbit as new models are released
President Barack Obama seems to like his smartwatch.
This past March, the commander in chief was spotted wearing a Fitbit Surge, a $250 GPS-enabled wearable that tracks steps, heart rate, calories burned, and more. It also lets users see notifications and control music from their smartphone.
Then, this week, Obama was a guest on Jerry Seinfeld’s online show Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee. Near the end of the video, you can see the Fitbit on Obama’s left wrist as he drives a 1963 Corvette Stingray Split Window Coupe with Seinfeld.
In February, Obama told Recode that he wanted to start wearing a device while working out and said he was interested in the Apple Watch. But, it looks like he ultimately went with Fitbit. As DailyDot notes, the president isn’t allowed to have a smartphone that has a recording device, so that may be one reason why he went with Fitbit over a Apple or Samsung product.
On a related note, Phactual reported that Obama’s Secret Service team likely disabled the GPS functionality in his Fitbit for obvious reasons.
Fitbit’s stock spiked 100 percent to $51 a share just two months after the company’s IPO this past June, but is now trading at $30 a share.

Much like Dali and Picasso, Fabian Perez is enjoying success with limited edition art
"Untitled II"
by
Fabian Perez
This is an iconic work of art that has made an impact on
the art world. Much like Salvador Dali Fabian Perez is enjoying
attention from the Media and his shows are drawing large crowds.
The artist is so well liked, he recently painted a portrait of Pope Francis
and presented it to the Pope in person.
Fabian Perez with Pope Francis
Fabian Perez captures audiences with his impressive European style
of work that includes dark bacgrounds contrasting with images
of Argentina night life.
Much in the way it happened for Salvador Dali, Picasso, Chagal, Miro and Warhol,
Fabian Perez commands high prices for his original paintings and now his limited edition
works are selling out and artists proofs and original are commanding higher prices.

Artist from Argentina Fabian Perez at The Village Gallery in Irvine
The well known and well respected artist who recently presented an original painting to The Pope, was the special guest at an artist showing in Irvine California at The Village Gallery.
Fabian Perez dedicates a work of art to a collector as his wife looks on.
It was a packed house at The Village Gallery.
The gallery provided snacks, music and wine for guests,
and the artist talked about what inspires his works and gave
collectors more insight as to the meaning of the art.
After dedicating a work to this new client, Perez stopped to take a few photos
for the clients wife who was waiting at home for the new work to arrive.
Some of the last of the Extra Large canvases as the one behind the
front desk of the gallery, sold at the show and received special dedications
to the clients. The client in this case also received a free $350.00 value book
with a bonus print inside. Perez hand signed and dedicated the book as well.
This new collector purchased a hand signed limited edition work
for his soon to be wife. The artist added a special dedication in Spanish
on the back of the art at the clients request.
