Lithography is a planographic printmaking process in which a design is drawn onto a flat stone (or prepared metal plate, usually zinc or aluminum) and affixed by means of a chemical reaction.
First, the design for the lithograph is drawn directly onto a polished slab of limestone using an oil-based lithographic crayon or ink.
I saw this story and thought I should share it with you guys. This kind of thing used to happen more often with art and estate sales but less frequent now that people are a bit more savvy about values of items in art and collectables.
A piece of art sold for $30.00 but it turns out to be a 50 Million Dollar Durer.

My NFT art is hand drawn, some is enhanced in digital and others are photographs of objects that are also enhanced in digital. Most of my art is hand drawn or painted.
There are very few if any art galleries in Irvine, the bulk seem to be in surrounding areas. There is a gallery at the Irvine Spectrum but that is the only one of note.
